Who’s the man behind the lens?

Hello, world! My name is Kevin Mugabo, a photographer based in Houston, TX.

I shoot Nature, Urban, Portrait, and Event.

I am a self-taught photographer.

What made me fall in love with photography was the speed of light aka long exposure. I was so overwhelmed to see the light trail, to see what you can do with light in photography.  And for portraits, I was inspired by Elvis Campos.

In the beginning, I didn’t want to take pictures of people, but with the encouragement from friends and family, I decided to try it and I was very happy with the results. So since then, I kept on practicing and practicing. Learning how to pose models, how to use natural light, or finding the right location.
